The OffDeck integration is connected once, by an authorized OffDeck administrator, using Intuit's OAuth 2.0 flow. There's nothing to install — authorization happens entirely on Intuit's secure sign-in screen.
An OffDeck administrator launches the connection from OffDeck's internal tooling. QuickBooks opens its official Intuit sign-in page.
Sign in to Intuit and select the OffDeck company. Intuit shows exactly which permissions are requested — read and write access to QuickBooks Online Accounting data.
Approve the connection. Intuit issues a secure token to OffDeck — no QuickBooks password is ever shared with or seen by OffDeck.
That's it. The integration is live. To reconnect later — for example after a token expires — simply repeat these steps; the new authorization replaces the old one.
